Anubis, Eygptian god of death, welcomes travelers to Denver International Airport

Also:

As I mentioned, I flew out of Denver International Airport this morning.  The traveling King Tut exhibit is currently in Denver for a spell, and I guess to advertise it, they’ve erected a giant statue of Anubis, Egyptian god of death, outside the window of the main terminal of the airport.  Anyone checking through the security line at DIA will look out the window and see this statue, eerily looming in the distance, alone in its empty field beside the highway.  I happened to catch this picture on a drizzly, overcast early morning.
